ViewFinder Terms of Service

By using ViewFinder, you agree to these terms.

1) Service scope

ViewFinder is an informational media companion. Streaming availability, release timing, and metadata may change by provider and region.

2) Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account on ViewFinder. If you are under 18, you should review these terms with a parent or guardian. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement.

3) User responsibilities

• Use the service lawfully and respectfully.
• Do not post abusive, hateful, or identifying child personal data in community reviews.
• Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or abuse service endpoints.
• You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account and email access.

4) Community content

You are responsible for your submissions. We may moderate, hide, or remove content that violates policy or legal requirements. By submitting reviews, you grant ViewFinder a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to display that content within the service.

5) Account suspension and termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate any account at our discretion if we believe it violates these terms, engages in abuse or spam, or poses a risk to other users or the service. You may also delete your account at any time by contacting us.

6) Third-party data and trademarks

ViewFinder relies on third-party data providers (including TMDB and Jikan/MAL). Logos and trademarks belong to their respective owners. We are not responsible for the accuracy or availability of third-party data.

7) Advertising

ViewFinder may display advertisements through Google AdSense or other ad networks. Ad content is provided by third parties and does not constitute endorsement by ViewFinder.

8) No warranty

The service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.

9) Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent allowed by law, ViewFinder and its operators are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from use of or inability to use the service, including but not limited to loss of data or inaccurate content.

10) Changes

We may update these terms over time. Continued use after updates means you accept the revised terms. We will update the "Last updated" date when changes are made.

11) Governing law

These terms are governed by applicable law in the jurisdiction where the service operator resides, without regard to conflict of law principles.
